Refund & Cancellation Policy

Understanding our policies for order cancellations and refunds

Thank you for choosing Meri Album. We want to ensure that you are completely satisfied with our products and services. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancelling orders and requesting refunds.

1. Cancellation Policy

1.1 Cancellation Before Payment

If you wish to cancel your order before making any payment, you may do so by contacting our customer support team at support@merialbum.in. No charges will be applied in this case.

1.2 Cancellation After Initial Payment

Meri Album offers installment payment options. If you have made the initial payment (40% of the order value) but wish to cancel before the design approval stage:

  • You will receive a refund of 70% of the amount paid
  • 30% of the amount paid will be retained as processing fees

1.3 Cancellation After Design Approval

If you have approved the design and made the second installment (30% of the order value) but wish to cancel before printing starts:

  • You will receive a refund of 40% of the total amount paid
  • 60% of the amount paid will be retained as processing and design fees

1.4 Cancellation After Printing Starts

Once the printing process has started, we cannot cancel the order, and no refund will be provided. This is because the printing process is customized and不可逆的 (irreversible).

2. Refund Policy

2.1 Eligibility for Refund

You may be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:

  • The product delivered is damaged during shipping
  • The product has printing or quality defects not caused by the uploaded images
  • The product delivered is different from what was approved

2.2 Damaged Products

If you receive a damaged product, you must:

  1. Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Provide clear photographs of the damaged product and packaging
  3. Return the damaged product to our address (shipping costs will be covered by Meri Album)

Once we receive and verify the damage, we will either reprint your order or provide a full refund, depending on your preference.

2.3 Quality Issues

If you are not satisfied with the print quality and believe it's due to our production process (not related to the quality of the images you provided), please:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide specific details and photographs of the quality issues

Our quality team will review your claim and determine if a refund or reprint is appropriate.

2.4 Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved, it will be processed within 7-14 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the transaction. The actual time taken for the refund to reflect in your account depends on your bank's processing time.

3. Non-Refundable Cases

The following situations are not eligible for a refund:

  • Change of mind after placing the order
  • Dissatisfaction with the product based on personal preferences
  • Quality issues resulting from low-resolution or poor-quality images provided by the customer
  • Orders that have been printed and shipped
  • Delays in delivery due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, postal strikes)

4. Partial Refunds

In some cases, we may offer a partial refund instead of a full refund, depending on the nature of the issue and the stage of production when the issue is reported.
